Do you know the difference between Rude, Mean, or Bullying. This is an important conversation that needs to happen because these terms, especially Bullying, are misused too often in society. We aren't saying it doesn't exist just that it is too often ill defined. 

Signe Whitson degines each as


Rude = Inadvertently saying or doing something that hurts someone else.

Mean = Purposefully saying or doing something to hurt someone once (or maybe twice).

Bullying = Intentionally aggressive behavior, repeated over time, that involves an imbalance of power.
